Honda Canada Foundation
We were created to lend a hand to registered non-profit charities that strive to make the lives of Canadians better through programming that focuses on our five key pillars: Education, Environment, Mobility, Traffic Safety and Community.
We’re dedicated to enhancing the lives and social well-being of Canadian communities by investing responsibly in organizations that share our visions and values.
$2M+ donated annually. Every year we aim to give up to $2 million to a variety of causes across Canada to help create a brighter tomorrow for us all.
6.5M+ Canadians helped. Since 2005, we’ve impacted one in every six Canadians through initiatives ranging from education to environmentalism.
2,300+ volunteer hours. Honda Associates donate thousands of hours to valuable causes every year. We’re proud to help make Canada a better place.
From granting funds to volunteering, we support organizations that focus on our five pillars: Education, Environment, Mobility, Traffic Safety and Community. This allows us to make positive contributions to Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
Education
Honda believes in embracing the dreams of young people and creating opportunities for them to succeed. We know educating today’s youth will inspire creativity and spark innovation to help solve tomorrow’s challenges. That’s why we support initiatives that encourage post-secondary education in engineering and technology, along with hands-on programs that spark youth interest in the fields of science, engineering and technology.
Environment
Our dedication to reducing our environmental footprint leads to our goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. We partner with charities that lead biodiversity and conservation efforts, and bring environmental education to classrooms and communities across Canada. By focusing on conservation initiatives, we’re on a mission to protect the Earth for future generations and ensure Blue Skies for Our Children.
Mobility
Whether it’s creating products that provide mobility on land, in the water or in the skies, enhancing the joy and freedom of mobility in our communities will always be our driving inspiration. By working with charities who expand the mobility and accessibility of our youth through assistive devices and infrastructure projects, we strive to bring the joy of movement to all Canadians.
Traffic Safety
Striving for a collision-free society is one of our most monumental dreams yet – that’s why Honda believes in Safety for Everyone. We are committed to helping people safely and confidently enjoy the freedom of mobility both on and off the road. We are proud to support traffic safety awareness campaigns, and local community hands-on learning clinics, educating youth to safely navigate the world around them.
Community
We may be a global company, but at our core, we are people–people who care about our families, our neighbours and local communities across Canada. The Honda Canada Foundation partners with charities who are working to improve the quality of life of Canadians. From local food banks, to children’s hospitals, to disaster response, we strive to be there when Canadians need us most.

We’re committed to giving back to communities where Canadians live, work and play. No matter the size of the contribution, we give back to the people who’ve welcomed us into their communities. It’s more than building goodwill, being a part of the community or being recognized for our support. It’s about building a better society together.
